Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Latvia for Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Latvia. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, particularly in March. Starting from approximately 768 downloads in late December, the app saw a gradual decline to around 456 downloads by the end of January. However, a significant upward trend began mid-quarter, with downloads peaking at about 2.1K in the week of March 21 before settling at 1.7K in the final week of March.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had a fluctuating download pattern. Initially, the app had around 1.2K downloads in the final week of December, which sharply decreased to about 534 downloads in the first week of January. The downloads then continued to decline, reaching a low of 214 in the week of March 21, before ending the quarter with 136 downloads.

Uber - Request a ride showed a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with about 173 downloads in late December, the app's downloads gradually increased, peaking at 262 in the week of March 21. By the end of March, the app had around 221 downloads.

Careem – rides, food & more maintained a relatively stable download rate with minor fluctuations. The app's weekly downloads ranged from a low of 30 to a high of 53, with the quarter ending at 31 downloads.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw consistent but low download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting with 29 downloads in late December, the app's downloads remained steady, peaking at 39 in the week of February 14, before dropping to 22 by the end of March.
